Meet Dr. Wirtz

Dr. Wirtz is a third generation dentist born and raised in Butler, Pa. Dr. Wirtz attended Knoch high school where he graduated in 2010. From there he was accepted into the early admittance dental program through Westminster College and Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Wirtz received his B.S. in biology from Westminster and graduated magna cum laude in 2013. He then completed his post graduated doctoral training at Case Western School of Dental Medicine in 2017. While attending Case, Dr. Wirtz was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, won the presidential research award for his research on sweetened beverages, and graduated in the top of his class. After dental school, Dr. Wirtz went on to the Center of Advanced Dental Education in St. Louis to pursue his degree in the specialty of endodontics. While at St. Louis, Dr. Wirtz was named chief resident and earned his master’s degree and his certificate in endodontics. In his spare time Dr. Wirtz enjoys the outdoors. He is an avid hunter, skier, hiker, golfer and scuba diver. He is excited to be back home and is looking forward to helping people in the Western Pa area.
